The Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) has been providing services to junior enlisted military personnel and their families since 1941. One of three non-federal entities that operate on installations, ASYMCA is established and positioned to serve military families, providing programs which Strengthen Our Military Family.
The Hawaii ASYMCA operate programs and services to ease the burden of military families and single service members who are currently serving, with an emphasis on junior enlisted personnel. We work with installation leadership to ensure a network of support for military families stationed in Hawaii. This collaboration allows us to identify and address gaps in services that pose a hardship to service members and their families – hardships that can negatively affect mission readiness.
